Alex Williams, Ph.D., CIM is the Chief Operating Officer and Founder of Getting Floor’D LLC, a family- and veteran-owned floor-covering business in Branson, Missouri. A combat veteran and former Captain in the Missouri Army National Guard, he served as a UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter pilot before turning his leadership focus toward business and community service. Alex is an active civic leader, serving on the Branson Public Schools Board of Education, the City of Branson’s Finance Committee, and as Chairman of the Branson Chamber of Commerce Proactive Government Committee. He also serves on the board of the Branson/Lakes Area Tourism Community Enhancement District. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the College of the Ozarks in 2016, a Master’s Degree from Missouri State University in 2020, and a Doctorate from Liberty University in 2024. Alex and his wife, Katie, live in Branson with their four children — Kimberly, Tobias, Colten, and Addison. His aspirations continue to center on serving the Branson community as a small business owner and public servant.
