Good Dads
Chapters

Good Dads is growing! Since our start in Springfield, MO,
we have expanded to several chapters throughout the state
who are furthering our mission to help kids and communities
one dad at a time.

Where are the chapters?

Ava leaders are dedicated to mentoring fathers and emphasizing the profound impact they have in the lives of their children. By providing support and resources for all dads, fathers who join the program have the power to enhance their own relationships and discover a greater sense of confidence in their parenting abilities. This creates a trifecta of benefits for the children in the Ava community: bolstering their sense of security, love and emotional well-being.

Headquartered at the Family Restoration Center in Stockton, MO, Good Dads Cedar County is committed to community focus by encouraging and restoring hope in individuals, families and children. We strive to meet physical, spiritual and emotional needs to build a community that loves and serves one another.

Good Dads Columbia is hosting classes to fathers the New Pathways program, and chapter leaders are eager to begin collaborating with the area’s schools to bring Good Dads to fathers of elementary students. We are grateful for the hard work and support of our collaborator, Love Columbia, for its help getting Good Dads Columbia established.

Good Dads Joplin collaborates with the Alliance of Southwest Missouri to bring services to dads in their community. Leaders in the Joplin area see Good Dads as pivotal to a community-wide effort to reduce child abuse and neglect and build stronger, healthier families.

Mark Twain Area Good Dads was formed in summer 2022 when city leaders in Hannibal recognized the impact of father absence and decided to do something about it. The northeastern group began leading its first Good Dads class at the Hannibal Community Supervision Center in 2023.

Even before Good Dads Lebanon officially became a chapter in 2024, the town of approximately 15,000 residents was already hosting Good Dads classes at Lifepoint Church. Now as a chapter, Good Dads Lebanon is furthering its mission to increase its impact in education, relationships, and mentorship with a variety of programs and classes geared toward dads being actively involved in their children’s lives.

When Healthy Nevada learned about Good Dads and the amazing things they have accomplished in the communities they serve, developing a Chapter in Nevada, MO, was a no-brainer. Healthy Nevada prides itself in developing and collaborating with like-minded organizations to strengthen individual and community wellness. Introducing a father-focused initiative into that collaboration of stakeholders will only serve to strengthen and improve the health of the community.

The Good Dads Rolla chapter is in the final stages of bringing together a dynamic group of community leaders who will be working together to bring the full gamut of Good Dads programs to the area. Rolla leaders are excited to bring Good Dads services to the town of approximately 20,000 residents.

Good Dads Texas County is pleased to bring engaged fatherhood services to the residents of Plato, Cabool, Licking, Houston and surrounding areas. Good Dads Texas County works in collaboration with the Texas County Health Department to provide services to the fathers of the community.
