THIS YEAR’S THEME
After much careful thought and many, many cups of coffee, Good Dads has come to fully realize the potential of our small but growing nonprofit. And as a result, we have become increasingly focused on expansion as one of our greatest priorities in 2024 and beyond.
With the relaunch of our Good Dads Great Communities curriculum, the course became a symbol for the future of Good Dads. Our rapid growth has been hectic—like our executive director says: It’s like changing the wheels on the bus while the bus is speeding down the road.
But at the end of the day, we’ve always been all about building great communities. When fathers are inspired, resourced and encouraged to be Good Dads, everyone wins. And we mean everyone. When Dad is involved in the lives of his children, kids do better. Schools are stronger. Relationships flourish. Economies are more robust. Neighborhoods are safer. It’s clear to us that Good Dads make Great Communities.

WHAT IS GOOD DADS?
Good Dads is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit headquartered in Springfield, MO. We are dedicated to building better communities one dad at a time by empowering, encouraging and inspiring fathers of all backgrounds to be the best parents they can be. The nonprofit began in 2015 when business leaders in the Ozarks recognized the impact of father absence and came together for the purpose of supporting father encouragement.
