Annual Fundraising Dinner

Mark your calendars for Thursday, Oct. 17, 2024, for the largest Good Dads event of the year! Join us at the Oasis Hotel & Convention Center ballroom for an evening of fun and memory-making as we celebrate Good Dads’ achievements, honor our Outstanding Dad of the Year finalists, highlight new father-focused initiatives and more.

Whether you are a corporate sponsor, a longtime friend of Good Dads or just learning about what we do for the first time, thank you! We’re grateful for your support.

After much careful thought and many, many cups of coffee, Good Dads has come to fully realize the potential of our small but growing nonprofit. And as a result, we have become increasingly focused on expansion as one of our greatest priorities in 2024 and beyond.

With the relaunch of our Good Dads Great Communities curriculum, the course became a symbol for the future of Good Dads. Our rapid growth has been hectic—like our executive director says: It’s like changing the wheels on the bus while the bus is speeding down the road.

But at the end of the day, we’ve always been all about building great communities. When fathers are inspired, resourced and encouraged to be Good Dads, everyone wins. And we mean everyone. When Dad is involved in the lives of his children, kids do better. Schools are stronger. Relationships flourish. Economies are more robust. Neighborhoods are safer.  It’s clear to us that Good Dads make Great Communities.

Thank you for joining us this year for our fourth-annual fundraising dinner; we can’t wait to see you.

Good Dads is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit headquartered in Springfield, MO. We are dedicated to building better communities one dad at a time by empowering, encouraging and inspiring fathers of all backgrounds to be the best parents they can be. The nonprofit began in 2015 when business leaders in the Ozarks recognized the impact of father absence and came together for the purpose of supporting father encouragement.

Find out even more about the nonprofit by signing up for our free weekly e-newsletter, reading the About Us section on our site, and by following us on social media at the links in the footer.

Our mission to help kids and communities one dad at a time cannot be fully realized without the generous contributions of local sponsors. Our community and business partners believe that fathers are important; they refuse to let this valuable part of the family unit go unappreciated. They understand that involved fathers are better for our schools, neighborhoods and economies. They know that fathers make our communities a great place to live.

If you recognize the value of engaged fatherhood, we encourage you to become a Good Dads sponsor this year at our largest fundraising event of the year.
