Mark Twain Area Good Dads
About Us
Good Dads of the Mark Twain Area was formed in summer 2022 when father-focused community leaders recognized the impact of father absence in the town of around 20,000 and decided to do something about it. After impressive fundraising efforts at the Riverfest Event, the Hannibal Rotary was able to help Good Dads operations get started in the Hannibal area. We began hosting our first Good Dads class in March 2023 to participants at the community Supervision Center.
The residents of Hannibal—“America’s Hometown”—know that strong families make strong communities. Mark Twain Area Good Dads is excited for more kids to reap the benefits in Hannibal and surrounding communities in northeast Missouri as their fathers dive into their full potential as Good Dads. Fatherhood is where our story begins, and it’s where we build strong families together.
