Joe Wilson currently serves as Presiding County Commissioner for Vernon County. He is a very community minded individual who believes it is important to be involved and to give back to your community.
Joe and his wife, Ronnette, where blessed with two children who live in the Kansas City area. He and his wife remain in Vernon County where they operate the family farm.
Joe attended Missouri State University where he earned a degree in Marketing and Business. This proved to be a good career choice for Joe as he and a group of local farmers began the Missouri Northern Pecan Growers in 2000. The business has steadily grown over the last 24 years. Joe took on the manager’s position and continues to fill that role today.
