About
Good Dads
St. Joseph

Typically known as the place where the Pony Express began and Jesse James ended, Good Dads St. Joseph is determined for this historic city to be known for something much more significant … the place where strong fathers lead healthy families.

Much like those early pioneers who used the city as a jumping off point in the westward migration, Good Dads St. Joseph is in the process of bringing resources to encourage, equip and empower men of all ages and all backgrounds. As one of the newest Good Dads chapters, organizers are currently offering the Good Dads 2.0 course, with plans to bring Good Dads Strong Schools curriculum to the St. Joseph School District in the fall of 2025.

Other plans include hosting a Good Dads Night at St. Joseph Mustangs Baseball in the summer, as well as a Good Dads Takeover of the InspireU Children’s Discovery Center in Downtown St. Joseph.

Led by Tim Doyle, former producer for the radio program Focus on the Family, Good Dads has received an enthusiastic welcome in the St. Joseph community. Through speaking opportunities to local businesses via the St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce and various community leaders through The Joseph Company, the message of championing men in the vital area of fathering is resonating with local residents.

Thanks to a strong Advisory Team of community leaders with extensive experience in the areas of government, business, social services and non-profit organizations, the St. Joseph chapter of Good Dads is off to a great start!
