Fun prizes are up for grabs for winners in these categories:

  • Ages 8 and under
  • Ages 9-12
  • Ages 13+
  • Staff Favorite

Contest Rules

To qualify for the Great Communities Corrugated Creation Design Contest, teams must include a father-figure (including step-dads, uncles, neighbors, grandfathers, teachers, etc.) and a child 18 years old or under. More than one child is permitted: Your submission will count in the category for the oldest child in your group.

One building per team. One entry per team.

How to Enter

Step 1. After the Good Dads Great Communities fundraising dinner, on Oct. 17, take a Great Communities corrugated building with you.

Step 2. Dads and kids should work together to creatively design an awesome masterpiece using the building as your base. Work collaboratively to make something amazing!

Step 3. Send photos of your submission to [email protected]. Use the subject line “Design Contest.”

Submissions must include:

  • At least one photo of your finished masterpiece. Make sure your photos are in focus so we can see the artwork clearly. To keep the contest fair to everyone, Good Dads will not accept images that use filters, stickers, Photoshopping or generative editing.
  • Give your masterpiece a title
  • Provide the first and last names of the artists (we will identify winners by their first names only)
  • Child(ren)’s age(s)
  • Your town
  • Your preferred contact information – so we can get prizes to our winners. (This information remains confidential and will not be shared outside of Good Dads.)
  • Finally, include a few sentences about your creation. Tell us about why you made certain creative decisions, the themes and ideas explored in your artwork, what you learned along the way, and any other information you want voters to know!

Submit your creations no later than December 1 by 11:59 p.m. Any submissions after the deadline will not qualify.

When you submit your entry to the contest, you give Good Dads permission to use your images and words on its website, social media, broadcast and other platforms.

What Happens Next?

Good Dads will review submissions after December 1, and we will post qualifying designs to our website. Visitors will have a brief window of time to vote on their favorites in their respective categories. Following voting, Good Dads will reveal contest winners on its website, social media and e-newsletter.
